Sound and Silence is a project of a romanian artist, Bogdan Bufnea, that creates immersive soundscapes with resonant instruments.Bogdan considers himself a storyteller.
Silence, time, space, rhythm, pulsations, timbre and echoes are his companions and the colors on the vast canvas of his artistic expression.Gongs, antique singing bowls (collection of around 170 antique bowls), tibetan trumpets, orin temple bells are some of the instruments that will give the audience a different perspective about how the sound travels, affects the environment and the listener's body and mind.

This is a workshop dedicated to the diverse world of antique indo-himalayan singing bowls.
From a collection of over 170 antique bowls, you will touch, hear and learn to play some of the finest bowls in the world, with age spanning over 200 years.
Learn about their rich history, their uses which maybe will surprise you and how they became so popular in the west.
SINGING BOWLS COURSE
Dive deep into understanding how to work with sound and singing bowls into a comprehensive 70 hours course.Learning how to play the singing bowls it is like learning any other musical instrument. It involves a lot of practice, developing sensitivity, working on the playing techniques and developing a deep listening ability.
